Best Treadmills 2015 – Overview:

LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i Folding Treadmill

Best Treadmills 2015 The LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i Folding Treadmill is hard to fault, which is good news really because it’s our Number 1 machine in the Best Treadmills 2015 list!

What we have here is a Treadmill which has been designed with good functionality and is really practical as well. The functionality includes a Multicolored LCD console which tracks and displays all the usual readouts and a Bio-mechanically correct deck suspension system which allows for quiet and smooth operation with a user weight limit which is higher than most other Treadmills.

The LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i supports user weight up to 350 lbs.

For a Treadmill of this type and with its impressively spacious running surface, we absolutely love the EZ Drop folding system.

EZ Drop allows the Treadmill to be stored efficiently when not in use and lowers the Treadmill deck to the ground, softly, when you want to use it again.

Any negatives?

We couldn’t find any apart from if your budget doesn’t allow it!

Summary

A big consideration for many when looking for exercise equipment is available space and quick useability, the LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i doesn’t disappoint and remains at the top of our Best Treadmills 2015 list!

Merit Fitness 715T Plus Treadmill

What are the best home treadmills for 2015The Merit Fitness 715T Plus Treadmill is at the more modest end of the Best Treadmills 2015 budget, but has earned itself an excellent reputation with previous customers.

With a 4-star rating over 132 Customer Reviews, the 715T has established itself as a good choice for those looking for a home treadmill at a more affordable price.

So what’s so special about the Merit Fitness 715T Plus Treadmill?

The console controls on the 715T are well designed and it won’t take you long to fully get to grips with this Treadmills functionality. You’ve got the usual monitoring functions here including 7 exercise presets, time, distance, speed, calories burned and heart rate.

Heart rate information is delivered via the pulse monitor which is built into the handgrips and your workout can be interrupted or modified by the quick speed/incline keys.

This is another Best Treadmills 2015 machine which also benefits from a generous workout area and an Aerosoft cushioning system which helps prevent impact shock to your lower body.

Any negatives?

Customers have found some small problems and after owning the Treadmill for a while, negative comments have been received on the parts warranty, which is currently 3 months.

The good news with this Treadmill is that the motor warranty is 2 years. The motor is obviously one of the components that is worked very hard and a good warranty is essential.

Remember to ensure that you are happy with the fitness equipment warranty before buying.

Summary

If your Best Treadmills 2015 budget is between $400 & $500 then the Merit Fitness 715T Plus Treadmill is definitely worth a second look and we’d strongly recommend seeing what other customers have said about the Treadmill before buying.

Proform 505 CST Treadmill

Best 2015 Treadmills

The Proform 505 CST Treadmill is another one of our favorite machines in the Best Treadmills 2015 list and boasts some very good features.

iFit Live Technology

One that immediately catches your intention when you start reading about the 505 CST is its compatibility with iFit Live Technology. iFit Live allows you to have customized fitness programs powered by Google Maps.

With this feature, you can tour the world, run and train on any course you want or design your own running course and invite others to race with you online! This technology is currently the only connection that is available between the Internet and your Treadmill but it’s not hard to imagine that this concept is going to grow huge.

The downside! You need to buy an iFit Module to connect your Treadmill to your wireless network at home.  Also, customer confidence has suffered with the iFit service and this has been reflected in a lot of negative reviews, but there are also a good selection of positive ones as well.

If this sort of thing interests you, we recommend taking a closer look at what the customers had to say: iFit Module Reviews

So what other features does the Proform 505 CST Treadmill have?

Even if you decide not to go for the iFit option, the 505 CST still has a lot to offer. The Treadmill has ProShox Lite 3 cushioning which aims to maximize the protection to your joints and customer reviews support the conclusion that this also helps to make running on the Proform 505 CST a very pleasant experience, quiet and relatively smooth.

Short on storage space? As with a good number of Treadmills available today, the 505 CST has this problem covered. The deck folds quiet easily, allowing you to store this Best Treadmills 2015 Treadmill vertically against a wall or maybe slide under the bed, ideal when you need the space for normal living or just want a bit of extra room for that pre-stretch run.

Any negatives?

We have seen 204 Customer Reviews for the Proform 505 CST Treadmill and it consistently averages 4 out of 5 stars. The biggest negative is associated is with the iFit functionality which we recommend you take a good look at when considering this Treadmill.

Summary

The Proform 505 CST Treadmill is an interesting Treadmill which represents good value for money and should meet the needs of most people looking for a middle range exercise machine which has good overall features, excellent storage solutions and the very clever iFit system! Defiantly worth another look and easily retains a top place in our Best Treadmills 2015 list.

LifeSpan TR 1200i Folding Treadmill

Best 2015 Treadmills

The LifeSpan TR 1200i Folding Treadmill has been around for a couple of years now and continues to be a very good seller, 2015 looks like being no exception.

As with our number 1 choice, the LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i, the 1200i has features which make it very suitable for anyone who wants an exercise machine that combines functionality with practicality.

It has the same EZ Drop folding system as its ‘big brother’ which allows you to store the Treadmill away, easily, when not in use.

Running on the LifeSpan TR 1200i Folding Treadmill is made very pleasant with the Biomechanically correct deck suspension system which supports user weight up to 300 lbs and the running area is a fairly generous 20 by 56 inches.

No problems with the LCD console or controls either. Pretty much standard stuff really with your time, calories, distance and speed etc. being displayed on the multicolored LCD screen. There’s a good selection of fitness presets on offer as well, with several weight loss, sports training, healthy living and heart rate programs to chose from.

Any negatives?

The only downsides we can see with this Treadmill is from a few customer reviews complaining about the time and effort it took to put the machine together after delivery. To be fair this is only a few comments out of 158 customer reviews, where the majority of users were very happy with their machines.

We strongly recommend setting aside a good part of a day to assemble, learn the controls, try out the features and to think about storage pre and post workout. Obviously this goes for all fitness equipment but especially with Treadmills which need to be assembled properly and carefully to support the type of impact they are designed for.

Summary

Again, the LifeSpan TR 1200i is a very capable Treadmill which currently benefits from some excellent offers and is well worth further consideration.
